Welcome to the Samaritan Center for Medical Research & Clinical Trials
The Samaritan Center for Medical Research (SCMR) is located in Los Gatos, California, in the heart of Silicon Valley. SCMR was established for the sole purpose of conducting all phases of clinical trials. The Center was established in 2005 by founder and principal investigator, Maia U. Chakerian, M.D. Since 1993, Dr. Chakerian has directed and participated in numerous clinical trials, both as a faculty member of the Pain Center at the University of California San Diego Medical Center, and since 1994 as a private practitioner specializing in pain medicine in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Dr. Chakerian is founder of, and Principal Investigator for the Samaritan Center for Medical Research (SCMR), an organization formed for the purpose of conducting clinical trials for the drug and medical device industries.
If you’re interested in participating in clinical trials being conducted by SCMR or other organizations, or would like to know more about what’s going on with the latest drug or device developments, please visit our clinical trials site at the link provided below.
