SCMR has established a unique working relationship with Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose, CA (a 422-bed acute medical care and skilled nursing facility owned by HCA). The hospital provides beds, medical staff , clinical laboratory services, electrocardiography, pharmacy services and nursing care to the Center on an as-needed basis. In addition, SCMR organizes community and hospital-based physicians into a multi-specialty research network. SCMRs organizational flexibility means that research operations can be scaled efficiently to meet the discrete requirements of each trial, while ensuring strict oversight of the entire clinical trials process, from recruiting to final reporting. |
